Varun has photographed nature from all over the world, from the soaring mountains of the Himalayas, to the barren salt flats of Bolivia, to the steep canyons of the American west. He needed a simple brand that let his photos do the talking. The palette, a series of monochromatic pairings representing the sky, earth, and sea, complements the varied landscapes in his work. It just so happens that his initials (VA) are mountain-shaped: serendipity that could not help but form the logo.
